Acknowledge the Good
TEXT - Luke 17:11-19
John 3:16 Our God does not discriminate. God loved us first with perfect love, regardless of who we are or what we have done.
Luke 17:11-19 Jesus, despite His journey to crucifixion, noticed the helpless state of these lepers and healed them. He stopped to be a blessing in spite of His journey to the cross. You are blessed to be a blessing, don’t get too occupied with your personal challenges that you fail to be a positive influence / blessing to those around you.
Luke 17:13 The lepers had a measure of faith and cried out to Jesus for mercy.
Luke 17:14 Jesus showed mercy to the lepers and healed them. Jesus despite being God in human form, humbled Himself to authority and instructed the lepers to go show themselves to the Priest as is the custom.
Luke 17:14 These lepers had faith and obeyed. Faith is not stagnant, faith is progressive. Act on your faith.
Eph 2:6-7 Your condition is not your location. Move with your faith. As the lepers went, they were cleansed.
Luke 17:15, Phil 1:6 Have you taken time to acknowledge the good in you. What you see determines how you worship. If you realise how good God has been to you, you will worship and give thanks unreservedly.
Luke 11:34-35 What are you seeing and how do you interpret what you see. Learn to acknowledge the good in you and around you.
