Advancing in Faith and Patience
Both the woman with the issue of blood and Jairus had faith. Regardless of the status of both persons; they both received what they sought God for. God has promised us to advance, believe Him do not look at your status or limitations.
If God has said something, He will do it! God never fails.
The woman with the issue of blood had the issue for 12 years, likewise, Jairus’ daughter was 12 years old. Though the similarity in number of years yet difference in circumstance. Yet God intervened and brought healing and deliverance to them.
What is your countenance in troubled times?
When your faith is not tested, your endurance cannot grow. It is in the place of waiting for the promises of God that you actually know that you trust God.
Eve focused on the one thing that she was not to eat. Do not be too focused on the one thing that you do not have. Be intentional in enjoying the things you have. In the place of waiting, learn to enjoy the things God has surrounded you with i.e. love, life, health, peace etc. Beware not to be frustrated in your place of waiting.
When men don’t wait for God, consequences are produced. Learn to wait till the end.
Abraham held on to the promise of God, even after Ishmael was born.
Jesus openly called out for the woman with the issue of blood in order to validate her healing, restore her identity, esteem, confidence and testify to the world that she had become healed and cleansed.
After the healing of the woman with the issue of blood, a message of doom came to Jairus that his daughter had died. However, Jesus said to Jairus, fear not, your daughter sleeps not dead!
All of God’ promises are fulfilled, done and complete in Christ. All we are waiting for are manifestations. You need to have faith and patience to obtain (handle) the promise.
After Jairus’ daughter was raised from the dead, Jesus instructed them not to tell anyone. Learn this; sometimes you need to be discrete. With wisdom and the leading of the spirit of God, you can discern when to speak and when to be silent. The light of God in you would speak and show forth for ALL to see.
