Change of Seasons

Isa 43:18

God is an expert at opening doors were others do not want to. Whenever God wants to make such a move, He will show up by introducing Himself into your world, in a miraculous fashion.

To heal means to restore to the original state. When God wants to begin His journey with you in this season, He will restore to the original state. The Lord is able to heal families, careers, relationships, hopes, dreams, health etc.

Isa 43:19

Desert indicates there is a lack of water. When God wants to create a river in the desert, He would come with an overflow of water in order to fix the source of the dryness.

1 Kings 18:40-46

God was about to change things in Israel; He introduced Himself by appearing in the fire first before He intervenes in the climate to bring about desired rain.

Gen 18:15

God had an agenda with Abraham by turning Abraham’s prayer point into an answer.

The sound of abundance of rain.

1 Kings 18:45-46

You are coming into a season as a church, by the time this season is over, God will cause His hand to abide upon you that you will outrun many that started before you.

Isa 43:18-19; 32:15

When God wants to change a season, He sends a flood. The flood will take you where God wants you to be.

Lev 26:3-13

When God is changing things, in that season, it may not be comfortable, but stay with Him and trust Him absolutely.

Gen 40:13-15

For two years, Joseph was being prepared for a change that God had as an agenda for him. Once Joseph was ready, then God stepped in to change his season according to God’s timeline.

The language Joseph had learnt by force was the bridge to his change of season, because he spoke Egyptian when interpreting Pharaoh’s dream. Pharaoh gives him everything he had lost.

There is an outpouring coming, but you would have to become part of the process that brings it in. Turn your focus to the intentions of God, away from your own personal needs. You would do what you know to do well, but this time round with a focus change from your needs to God’s needs.

Matt 6:33; 16:18-19; Isa 32:15

Make what is invisible appear to the visible, through prayer. Create an environment for God to bless people in the community, city around you, rather than yourself so that everyone would be blessed. This is the ideal revival of the land.

Changing your focus will change your result. For example: Pray for Glasgow, Scotland on a daily basis.

How to Pray – The Lord’s Prayer

Matt 6:8-13; John 14:6

Vs 9 Our Father – The foundation of a successful prayer is relationship. Understand that you are coming to a God who loves you. “Our” – whenever you come before God in prayer, you cannot come without Jesus, our mediator, the relationship Jesus created for our benefit. When you ask based on relationship, you actually receive it not because you deserve it.

“Which art in Heaven” – When you come before God in prayer, you are coming to the place of highest authority. Isa 58:4

“Hallowed be thy name” – Worship, appreciation of who God is, what He has done and what He will do. Hallowed means kept Holy. God is already famous for what you are worrying about. When you appear before God remember who HE is. HE is the I AM. 2 Cor 9:8

Vs 10 “Thy Kingdom come” – God will show up in His full weight. God’s power and ability will show up to enthrone His Kingdom. In Glasgow, let God’s Kingdom come.

“Let thy will be done” – Lord what you have planned, against all odds, let your will be done. Acts 10:38 When God’s kingdom comes, His will is done.

Vs 11 “Give us this day our daily bread” – As a soldier in God’s kingdom, you do not sustain yourself but the authority of the Kingdom makes all provision required.

Vs 12 “Forgive us our debt…..” – Maintain an environment that God can always come into. Beware of the sin of disobedient. Amos 3:3; 1 John 1:9

Vs13 “Lead us not into temptation ….” – God’s primary method of protection is direction not deliverance. He will only have to deliver you if you are lost as a result of disobedience.

Vs 13 “For thine is the Kingdom, the power and the glory….”– Your success will no longer be because you are competent but God’s help, this is His grace Heb 4:13
