Esther 5:1-3

Grace is a position where you stand in God in Christ Jesus.

2 Cor 5:16-17; John 1:14 Grace is the expression of God’s love to you because you are in Christ and you receive it in the package of mercy and favour.

Eph 2:5-7 There is so much mercy and favour in abundance that God wants to show to you in Christ. You can only access in God’s abundance of mercy and favour if you believe – your faith is key.

As a believer, you must always believe that the outcome of your life is not a function of your effort but by God’s grace. God will always allow you to get to the end of yourself so that HE can carry you. 2 Cor 12:9-10; 1 Cor 15:9.

How we appreciate God’s grace is by putting in the effort. We work from grace to effort!

Ruth 2:5-17; Deut 23:3; Lev 19:9-10 Ruth, a Moabite was disqualified as a stranger. Gleaning is the portion of a poor person. Ruth went out to glean and met grace, she harvested because of where she was positioned. She received more than she expected.

Grace gives you what you don’t qualify for and you show thanksgiving by the effort you put in. Favour is God’s response to you honouring Him. 2 Sam 7:2

1 Sam13:13; John 4:7-10 Every time you keep God’s commandment you honour Him. Honour is how you provoke God’s favour.

Esther 1:3; 2:5-20; 3:1-7; 4:11-13; 5:3 The culture in God’s kingdom is honour and respect.
