It is time to move forward

Luke 19:1-10

Every area of need within you is an opportunity to see Jesus manifest in your life.

Luke 19:9

The end result of getting into position to become visible, to catch a glimpse of Jesus, was the salvation of the life of Zacchaeus, the chief tax collector.

Zacchaeus invited Jesus into his home, in spite of his reputation as “the chief tax collector”. After getting into position, Zacchaeus took the next step to allow Jesus come into his home.

Text: 2 Cor 12:1-10

2 Cor 12:7 In spite of every weakness, pain, hurt, lack, etc know this that God has a purpose for everything that we go through. When you humble yourself under the mighty hand of God, He will give you grace to go through.

2 Cor 12:9

God says; “My grace is all that you need”. Do not rely on the works of the flesh.

Grace is the unmerited favour of God; it is about getting wat you don’t deserve.

Heb 4:16 When we approach God, we come boldly to the throne of grace, to obtain mercy and find grace. Finding the grace of God, something of value through the love of Christ Jesus. Ignore that need and focus on the grace of God that is more than enough, it is all that you need.

God’s grace is sufficient and relevant for every need; it is ever PRESENT! It is sufficient for this present moment. While faith is looking ahead, it is trusting God in the PRESENT. God’s grace is sufficient for right here, right now!

God’s grace is ALL YOU NEED. God knows and feels what you feel. Nothing you have done is a surprise to God. All you need to do is speak to Him, He sees you.

The ALL speaks of the sufficiency of God. Everything that you need is in Christ Jesus. God is aware of everything, come into the presence of your Heavenly Father with the understanding and conviction that He bears you in His hands, His grace is ALL you need.

That weakness that keeps people from moving forward.

Don’t limit yourself anymore; it is time to START – move forward. What has God said to you; but you are holding back / you are making excuses.

Exo 3:11-14

Following God’s assignment to Moses; Moses questioned himself; who am I to speak to Pharaoh?

You can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens you. It is not in your ability, you are not alone, God is with you and His strength is perfected in your weakness. You have been redeemed through the precious blood of Jesus. See yourself as the one who is sent by the “I AM”, the “Almighty God”.

1 Cor 1:27

God uses the weak things of this world to confound the wise. Do not let that weakness hold you back and stop you from coming into the fullness of what God has for you. Move forward! All that you need is in God.

Exo 4:1, 10

Sometimes, we focus on what people say. God’s response is do not focus on the distractions that surround you. Moses made several excuses to God to demonstrate his weakness and inadequacies. Yet God persuaded Moses that He is with Him and He is ALL that he needs to fulfil the assignment.

Judges 6:11-16

Gideon looked at his circumstances and let that define his God. Your circumstances / struggles is not a measure of the presence of God in your life. God is ever present, He is with you. As you move forward, as you heed His call; God is with you.
