Neh 8: 8-12; 2 Cor 7:10

Godly sorrow produces godly repentance while worldly sorrow brings death (separation from God). Worldly sorrow feeds on faithlessness. Faith worked by love (God). Faith is a response to who God is Gal 5:16.

God will never require of you what He won’t help you with, this grows your faith. He is the one who will equip you for the task. God wants you to depend on Him so He can deliver it to you. You can only have faith in God’s word when you understand God’s character.

Worldly sorrow depends on the works of self. Repentance is a product of understanding – you catching a glimpse of what God shows you; His standard in His word and interpreting correctly what God requires of you. Understanding and catching a glimpse of interpreting it correctly. This motivates a believer Heb 12:2; Gen 12: 1-2. Then God will make you! How much God can do through you – being a witness.

It is not about what you can do, but what God will do. Whatever God shows you in His promises, all He wants you to do is to believe. Moving along the direction of what God is saying requires strength.

Strength is a product of joy. Strength will fail where joy is lacking. Isa 12:3; Heb 12:2

If you don’t see the glory ahead, you won’t follow-through to the end of the cross before you experience the crown that God had in store. Until you have understanding, you will not be willing to pay the price. True joy is not a function of happiness but an understanding of the promise of God Ps 37:4.

Ps 1:1-3; Jer 15:16 Delight yourself in the word of the Lord and you will contact true joy. Joy is a product of the word of God that you find. Where there is joy there is strength and with strength you overcome.

Ps 8:2; Matt 21: 16 True praise is an expression of the joy that you have discovered.

James 1:2; 1 Cor 10:13; Ex 13:17 Count it all joy, especially when you trials and tribulations come your way.

2 Kings 6:15 The size of the attack you experience informs you of the size of your backup in God. All that God requires of you is your fixed unwavering faith in HIM.
